Brief description: The Future International Leaders Scholarship yearly selects the world’s top 1st-generation university students and, over the course of a three-year program, primes them for induction into the Fortis Society – the world’s 1st private network of diverse leaders committed to one another’s success and to a better world.

Eligibility: Candidates must be 1st-year university students and must fit the following suitability measures:

1.  1st-Generation or Low-Salary University Student – students who do not have a family history of higher education, or who come from a low-salary background.

2.   Track Record of Academic Merit – throughout high school and during the 1st months of the present school year.

3. Proven Leadership Capabilities – through self-started initiatives and ventures, or leadership in their schools or communities.
