Brief
description: The Swiss Government, during the Federal Commission for
Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS), decorations diverse postgraduate
scholarships to foreign scholars and researchers: University scholarships
(Swiss universities, Federal Institutes of Technology as well as Universities
of Applied Sciences) and Arts scholarships (schools of music and fine
arts, only for a limited number of countries).
These scholarships present graduates from
all fields with the opportunity to follow doctoral or postdoctoral research in
Switzerland at one of the public funded university or recognized institution.

Institution(s): All of the ten (10) Swiss Public Universities, the
two (2) Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology, the public teaching and
research institutes and the Universities of applied sciences.

or Postdoctoral investigate in all academic fields.
Target group: Worldwide students from

Scholarship
inclusions: The scholarship covers a monthly payment, exception of
tuition fees, health insurance, air fare, housing allowance, etc. See the

instructions: 2016-2017 Applications are currently closed. The next
offer for the academic year 2017-2018 will be online at the official website
from August 2016.
