Brief description: UPF Barcelona School of Management,
through the UPF’s Institute of Continuing Education Foundation proposes
scholarships for Spanish students who can demonstrate their ability and inspiration.
Scholarships are presented for pursuing master studies. The university offers
modern educational and research environments that enables students and
researchers to face current challenges and to focus on knowledge as a principle
driving force for development. Information and Communication Technologies
Engineering (ETIC), is a young and active multidisciplinary department of the
Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona. UPF is ranked as the most
productive university in Spain in research outcome and magnetism of funds
(THE2013) and 13th worldwide among young universities (THE2013, 100 under 50).
According
to Spanish policy regarding access to university studies, no specific
certificates are required to verify their knowledge of Spanish. In general,
students can verify their level of domination of Spanish by presenting the
results established at the DELE test (Diploma de Españolcomo Lengua Extranjera),
by presenting the results from school studies or any other studies. Their
university will check whether their level of Spanish is satisfactory for them
to be able to successfully pass their studies in Spain.

Scholarships are presented for pursuing master’s studies.
Study Subject:
Scholarships are awarded in diverse fields presented by the university.
Scholarship Award: The Talent Scholarships cover between 25% and
50% of the total tuition fee and up to 75% if they can demonstrate that they
are in a difficult financial situation.

Eligibility: The following criteria
must be met in order for candidates to be suitable for scholarship: Have
completed a university qualification.
Have
obtained in their undergraduate studies a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of
3.0 out of 4.0(the Scholarship Committee reserves the right to determine a
different minimum GPA according to your home country’s grading method).
Have
been accepted to the master program for which you are applying for the
scholarship.
Have
paid the 25% of the tuition fee necessary to reserve your place on the program
in the period indicated in your admission letter.
Please
note that application must meet all documentation requirements and deadlines.
Otherwise it will not be evaluated.
Nationality: Spanish students can submit an
application for these talent scholarships. College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements:
Candidates must have obtained in their undergraduate studies a minimum GPA

English language Requirements:

students can verify their level of command of Spanish by presenting the results
expected at the DELE test (Diploma de Españolcomo Lengua Extranjera), by
presenting the results from school studies or some other studies. Their
university will check whether their level of Spanish is adequate for them to be
capable to successfully pass their studies in Spain.

Grants”). Please note that this option will only be displayed once you have
paid your master’s reservation fee. Remember to afford the following
documentation:
A letter of inspiration (including your reasons for
applying for a Talent Scholarship)
At least 2 letters of academic and/or professional
recommendation
A complete transcript of records of undergraduate
studies with their GPA
If
presenting a non-Spanish transcript of records, a conversion chart or a scale
corresponding to the educational method of the country in which the degree was
issued.
