Brief description:
The dream of The MasterCard
Foundation Scholars Program is to educate and develop academically experienced
yet economically underprivileged youthful people in Africa who will make a
payment to the alteration of the continent. This $500 million program will grant
students in secondary school and university with the knowledge and headship
skills wanted to donate to economic and social growth from corner to corner of Africa.

The
Scholarship Programs aims to award out $500 million worth of scholarships to
15,000 African students in 10 years.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship
Program is considered to give students with holistic support, including:
Comprehensive Scholarships : Students accept financial bear for cost, uniforms, books and
supplies, transportation, accommodation, and stipends.
21st Century proficiency Building : Students income from improvement in skill areas related to
employment success, such as dangerous thinking, communications, and
entrepreneurship.
Transition Support: Students will accept
support during their transition into secondary school, university or the employees
with mentoring, career analysis, internships, leadership development, and other
life skills training.
Give-back Component : An integral component of the Program is the commitment from the Scholars
to provide back to their communities and countries of origin. Students will
demonstrate this commitment through volunteerism and community service, as well
as other forms of experimental learning.
Alumni Network : Graduates of the Scholars Program will be linked through an alumni
network that offers information, resources, and opportunities to approach with
other graduates.
