Brief
description: Every year, Rotary
selects up to 100 students from around the world to get fully funded academic
fellowships to pursue a Certificate course or Masters Degree course related to
peace and conflict declaration and prevention at one of the
participating peace centers.

study: Certificate or Masters
Degree Programme in fields related to peace and conflict declaration and anticipation.
Target group: Any
person endorsed by their neighboring Rotary Club/District.
No. of
Scholarships: Up to 50
master’s degree scholarships and 50 certificates are awarded every year.
Scholarship
value/inclusions: The scholarships
cover tuition and fees, accommodation, round-trip transportation, and all placement
and field-study expenses.
Eligibility:
The Rotary Peace Scholarship is planned for
professionals with work experience in worldwide relations or peace and conflict
prevention and declaration. Candidates must also meet the following necessities:
• Skill in English; proficiency in a
second language is strappingly suggested
• Strong assurance to worldwide
understanding and peace as verified through professional and academic
achievements and personal or community service.
• Outstanding leadership expertises.
• Master’s degree candidates: minimum 3
years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, bachelor’s degree.
• Certificate candidates: minimum 5
years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, sturdy academic conditions.
Application
instructions: The closing date for applicants
to submit applications to their respective Rotary district is 31 May. Districts
must submit approved applications to The Rotary Foundation by 1 July.
