Brief description: The Gates Cambridge Scholarships are one of the most celebrated worldwide scholarships in the world. Scholarships are awarded to excellent candidates from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in every subject obtainable at the University of Cambridge.

Eligibility: You can submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you are:
•  a citizen of every country outside the United Kingdom.
•  applying to pursue one of the following full-time residential courses of study: PhD (3 year research-only degree); MSc or MLitt (2 year research-only degree); or a 1 year postgraduate course (e.g. MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma, MBA etc.)
If you are applying for a new postgraduate course you can submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Current Gates Cambridge Scholars may also submit an application for a 2nd scholarship if they are applying for a new degree.
Application instructions: Applications for October 2017 entry opens 1 September 2016.

It is not achievable to submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship without applying to the University of Cambridge.  You must submit an application for admission as a postgraduate student to the University of Cambridge and a Gates Cambridge Scholarship at the same time, using the one application pack.  The closing date for applications is 7 December 2016 for citizens of all countries other than the US and 12 October 2016 for US citizens.

In case of comparable qualification, preference will be given to applications which show that the candidate is among the top 5%.
You must come from a country outside the EU/EEA and meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands.

The scholarship duration is 1 – 2.5 years.

Eligibility: To be suitable for Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Scholarship, candidates must:
•  be aged 18 years or over at the commencement of their programme
•  be a citizen and/or permanent resident of a participating country (see above)
•  commence their proposed programme after 1 January 2017 and no later than 30 November 2017. Candidates who have already commenced or will commence their intended programme prior to 2017 are not suitable to submit an application
•  provide all relevant supporting documentation
• not currently hold or have completed, since 1 January 2015, an Australian Government sponsored scholarship and/or fellowship (directly administered to recipients by the Australian Government)
•  not apply for a category in which they have already completed an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship.
Application instructions: As part of the eligibility requirements, Endeavour Vocational Education and Training Scholarship candidates must attach a formal admission letter from their proposed Australian institution. A conditional admission letter will be accepted at the time of application. Commencement must be for the 2017 academic year.
