Description:
The
Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship gives funding to a select list of
academic universities that will every award a US$20,000 fellowship to each
woman who is interested in pursuing a PhD and in need of financial assistance.

Fellowship in the 2016–2017 academic year:

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
The
scholarship amount is US$20,000 for the 2016–2017 academic year. Of that
amount, $18,000 will be applied toward tuition costs and $2,000 will cover
travel expenses to a conference in the fellowship recipient’s group of study.
The
fellowship is awarded to recipients for one academic year only and is not
available for extension or renewal.
