Brief description: The Masters (MS)/PhD Scholarship Programme aims to make
certain the consequence and receptiveness of Southeast Asia’s agricultural
scientists and professionals to worldwide sustainable development issues.

Target group: Release to nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia,
Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao
People’s Democratic Republic, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
Covers tuition and other school fees; travel
allowance (roundtrip air ticket from home country to study post and local
transportation); thesis/dissertation support; book and supplies allowance;
health insurance; and a stipend for food, lodging and incidental expenses.
Eligibility: The SEARCA Graduate Scholarship is release to nationals
of SEAMEO Member Countries ( Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Myanmar, the
Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic,
Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam) who are regular employees of academic, investigate
or government institutions and not more than 35 years old at the time of
application.
Projected thesis research should focus on
SEARCA’s overarching theme of comprehensive and sustainable agricultural and
rural development (ISARD). Moreover, priority research topics must fall within the ISARD strategic
thrusts on social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and cross-cutting
concerns.
Application instructions: Attracted parties may submit their accomplished SEARCA
Scholarship Application form together with other original application necessities
to the Ministries of Education/Higher
Education of their respective countries.
Candidates are requested to verify from their respective Ministries of
Education/Higher Education for their closing date of receiving
applications. Closing date for the Ministries to send endorsements to
SEARCA is 31 July of every year.
