Brief description: The Denmark Government welcomes greatly skilled and interested global students from all over the world to study in Denmark. A figure of scholarships are therefore presented every year by the Danish Ministry of Education to fund students from countries outside the European Union. The scholarships can be granted for a full degree higher education programme.

Scholarship value/inclusions: The government scholarship involves of two parts and can be given as full or limited tuition fee sacrifices and/or awards towards covering your living costs.
However, as the scholarships are controlled by the specific higher education institution, you should ask for additional details at the institution of your choice.
Eligibility: In order to be qualified to submit an application for a scholarship you have to be:
•  A citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
•  Registered in a full degree higher education programme.
• Decided a time-limited residence permit in Denmark due to education
Application instructions: The scholarships are controlled by the Danish institutions of higher education, each of which chooses which students will receive a scholarship. For additional information about the government scholarship, please access the admission details of the higher education institution of your choice. The organization can also notify you about entry requirements, course descriptions, closing date and student services.
Closing date varies depending on your choice University and study programme. Normally, the closing date falls around March-April for entry in September of the same year or around September-October for entry in February of the following year.
