Brief description: The Stanford Africa MBA Scholarships Program are for citizens of African countries with financial need who desire to gain an MBA at Stanford GSB.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: Stanford Africa MBA Scholars accept financial support for the cost of Stanford MBA tuition and related fees for the 2-year course of study.
Eligibility: You must be a citizen of an African country. Dual citizens are qualified for the Scholarships  as long as you hold citizenship of an African nation.  You must have also completed, or be in the final year of completing, your university studies. You must also return to work in Africa, within 2 years of Stanford MBA graduation, for a period of at least 2 years.

Brief description: The Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship scholarship offers funding to a select list of scholastic universities that will every award a US$20,000 fellowship to one woman who is attracted in pursuing a PhD and in need of economic assistance.
Host Institution(s): The following United States universities are participants in the Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship scholarship in the 2016–2017 academic year:

Level/Field of study: PhD Scholarship in any field of study presented at the participating Universities
Number of Scholarships: One from every participating University
Target group: Female.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: The scholarship quantity is US$20,000 for the 2016–2017 academic year. Of that amount, $18,000 will be applied toward tuition expenses and $2,000 will cover travel cost to a meeting in the fellowship recipient’s field of study.
The fellowship is awarded to recipients for 1 academic year only and is not vacant for extension or renewal.
Eligibility: The Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship scholarship is suitable to students entering or enrolled in a PhD program at one of the participating universities for the 2016–2017 academic year.
