Scholarship
value/inclusions/duration: The
scholarship quantity is US$20,000 for the 2016–2017 academic year. Of that
amount, $18,000 will be applied toward tuition expenses and $2,000 will cover
travel cost to a meeting in the fellowship recipient’s field of study.
The
fellowship is awarded to recipients for 1 academic year only and is not vacant
for extension or renewal.
Eligibility: The
Microsoft Research Women’s Fellowship scholarship is suitable to students entering
or enrolled in a PhD program at one of the participating universities for the
2016–2017 academic year.
