Brief description: The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are qualified-based
awards that are release to students of every nationality who will be registered
as full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at the University of Manitoba.
Host Institution(s): University of Manitoba, Canada.
Field(s) of study: Every graduate degree programs offered by
the University (except those
in the Faculty of Medicine and in the Master of Business Administration – MBA).
Target group: Every one of students regardless of citizenship are eligible to submit
an application.
Scholarship value/inclusions: The cost of these fellowships is $18,000 (Ph.D.) and is $14,000
(Master’s) for a twelve month period. Students are suitable to accept
the UMGF for the first 24 months of their Master’s program and the first 48
months of their PhD program.
Eligibility: Academic standing: Students with a minimum GPA of 3.75
(above B+) at a accepted university based on a Bachelor, Masters, Graduate
Diploma or a Doctoral degree. Please use admissions criteria in calculating
GPA, i.e., last 60 credit hours or corresponding.
Citizenship: All students regardless of citizenship
are qualified to submit an application.
Fields
of study: Students in all fields of graduate study
(with the exception of those in the Faculty of Medicine and in the Master of
Business Administration [MBA]) are qualified to submit an application.
