Brief description: Nuffic, during the Netherlands Scholarship Programme, give scholarships for a number of elected courses presented by institutions in the Netherlands. The courses lead to a Dutch certificate or a diploma and their duration varies from 2 weeks to 12 months.
Host Institution(s): Dutch Universities and Institutions.

Field(s) of study: NFP-qualified courses. Find a short course at this link then contact the Dutch higher education institution that proposes that course to find out whether it is NFP-qualified.
Target group: The NFP target group consists of professionals who are nationals of and work and live in an NFP country. The chances of obtaining an NFP scholarship increase if you live and work in Sub-Saharan Africa and/or if you are a woman.
Scholarship value/inclusions: An NFP fellowship is intended to supplement the salary that the fellow should continue to receive during the study period. The allowance is a contribution towards the costs of living, the costs of tuition fees, visas, travel, insurance and thesis research. If applicable, the fellowship holder is expected to cover the difference between the actual costs and the amount of the personal NFP allowances.
Eligibility: The NFP is meant for professionals who are nationals of and work and live in one of the 51 NFP countries. Applicants have to be nominated by their employer to be qualified for the fellowship. There also has to be a clear need for training within the context of the organisation.

Brief description: The Humphrey Scholarship Program is for experienced professionals concerned in strengthening their leadership abilities through a mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common concern in the U.S. and Fellows’ home countries.
Host Institution(s): Fellows are placed at one of the participating USA universities. Fellows are not capable to decide which university they will attend. Rather, they are assigned in diverse groups of 7-15 to the most appropriate host institution based on their area of interest and professional field.

Level/Field of study: As a non-degree program, the Fellowship proposes valuable opportunities for professional development through choosen university courses, attending conferences, networking, and practical work experiences. The eligible program fields are:

•  A one-time computer subsidy;

Brief description: The worldwide Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) program allows worldwide students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and achieve experience with leading Australian researchers.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their reliants. The scholarships are presented for a period of 2 years for a research masters degree or 3 years for a research doctorate degree. 
Eligibility: To be qualified to submit an application for an IPRS, the candidate must be an worldwide student (except New Zealand) and commencing full-time enrolment in a higher degree by research at a suitable university in Australia. The basic eligibility criteria for an IPRS are listed in section 3.10.1 of the Commonwealth Scholarships Guidelines (Research) 2012.

Eligibility: To be qualified to accept an Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship, candidates must:
•  be aged 18 years or over at the commencement of their programme
•  be a citizen and/or permanent resident of a participating country (see above)
•  commence their offered programme after 1 January 2017 and no later than 30 November 2017. Candidates who have already commenced or will commence their intended programme prior to 2017 are not qualified to submit an application.
•  provide all relevant supporting documentation
• not currently hold or have completed, since 1 January 2015, an Australian Government sponsored scholarship and/or fellowship (directly administered to recipients by the Australian Government)
•  not submit an application for a category in which they have already completed an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship.
Application instructions: As part of the eligibility requirements, worldwide Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship candidates must attach a formal admission letter from their offered Australian institution. A conditional admission letter will be accepted at the time of application. Commencement must be for the 2017 academic year.
Applications are submitted through the Endeavour Online (EOL) system. Applications will  close at 11.59 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on 30 June 2016.
