• Have applied for a course which has a full-time study load.

Scholarship description: The Swedish Institution Study Scholarships (SISS) are rewarded to students from preferred countries for permanent master’s stage studies in Sweden opening in the Autumn semester in 2018.
Host Universities/Institutions: Swedish Higher Education Organizations and Swedish Universities
Number of Scholarships: An expected 180 scholarships will be presented.
Target group: Students from SISS-eligible countries:
Group 1: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina-Faso, Cambodia, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Group 2: Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Iran and Vietnam
Group 3: Candidates with citizenships from countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients other than the above mentioned and those countries included in other SI scholarship programme.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses of SEK 9,000 for every month, insurance, and a 1st time travel allowance of SEK 15,000 (only for scholarship holders from countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients). There are no supplementary allowances for family members.
The scholarship is planned for full-time 1 year or 2 year master’s programmes, and is only awarded for programmes opening in the autumn semester. The scholarship is approved for 1 academic year (2 semesters) at a time. It will be extended for programmes longer than two semesters, provided that the student has passed his/her courses/credits.
Eligibility: Candidates must be from an eligible country and have at least 3,000 hours of experience from full-time/part-time service, charitable work, paid/unpaid internship, and/or position of confidence. You must have demonstrated leadership skill from employment, voluntary work, and/or internship after high school studies.
You must be compulsory to pay tuition fees to the universities, have followed the steps of university admission, and will be admitted to one of the appropriate master’s programmes by 6 April 2018.

Scholarships are presented to highly qualified incoming George Washington full-time graduate degree program seeking students who have gained admission to the University and whose program is on the chief Foggy Bottom Campus.
As part of the admissions procedure, candidates must have passed the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based exam or 100 on the internet based exam, or an IELTS overall band score of 7.5 (with no single band below 6.0).
