EPFL Scholarship Programme

Masters Degree
Brief description: EPFL proposes a limited number of fellowships at the Master’s level to students with excellent academic records. Some of the fellowships are investment by EPFL openly and others through partnerships with foundations or companies.
Host Institution(s): École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland.

Field of study: Suitable Master’s Programme Proposed at University.
Number of Awards: Limited
Target group: Every students including worldwide students.
Scholarship value/inclusions: For external candidates, the scholarship includes CHF 16’000 per academic year split into monthly payments (CHF 32’000 for a two-year Master’s or CHF 24’000 for a 1 1/2 year Master’s) and reservation of a room in student’s accommodation.
Note that accommodation, tuition fees, visa fees, etc. must be paid by the fellowship holder.
Eligibility: Anybody submit an application to an EPFL Master’s Program is suitable. The selection of applicants and the granting of the fellowships is done based exclusively on the evaluation of the academic records of the applicants.
Application instructions: The application is done via the same online form than your application to a Master’s program. It is however essential to tick a box indicating that your profile should also be measured for an brilliance fellowship. Applications can be filled online from  mid-November to the 15th of January, or from the16th of January to the 15th of June.  Applicants who need a visa are strongly advised to submit an application by the June closing date.

Brief description: York University, recognized for championing new ways of thinking, requests worldwide students to submit an application to the York World Scholars (YWS) program. The program is for high-achieving students with strong verbal and written communication skills, who would like to pursue a double major  (a combination of two programs resulting in a unique degree) in the humanities, the social sciences, languages and specialized fields.

As a York World Scholar candidate, you will also be automatically considered for the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies Worldwide Student Entrance Scholarship. Qualified applicants with a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 90% and 94.9% will receive $2,000; applicants with a GPA of 95% or higher will receive $3000.

Application instructions: Worldwide candidates can submit an application through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) (if they are attracted in applying to other Ontario Universities) OR they can use the York online application (if they are attracted in applying to York only). After submitting the OUAC application, two statements of interest are required:
a. A statement of 400 words describing the double major combination you have chosen and why.
b. A statement of 200 words explanation who you envision yourself to be in the next 5 years.
The OUAC application and both statements are due no later than 20 June 2016.

Eligibility: You do not require to meet the minimum English requirements to be capable to submit an application for the scholarship. You can take an IELTS or other English test if you are awarded the scholarship. However, you must already meet the minimum academic entry requirements for your selected course to be capable to submit an application for the scholarship.
To be measured for a place on one of the Master’s courses, you will need to have achieved (or be about to achieve) the minimum level of degree qualification specified for your country (see authorized website).
Application instructions: Applications will release 18 April 2016 and application forms will only be available at the authorized website by then.
You no longer need to have protected a propose to study at Bradford before you submit an application for this scholarship. Travel costs to and from Japan, visa management fees, and health/accident insurance expenses must be roofed by the student. The tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients.
Eligibility: Candidates for the PhD in Sustainability Science are requisite to have met ALL of the following requirements by the application closing date in order to be considered:
1. Strong curiosity in sustainability studies;
2. Verified commitment to study and understand global issues;
3. A completed Master’s degree in disciplines related to sustainability studies and a minimum of 24 months of practical field skill related to UNU-IAS make inquiries themes
