Dual citizens are qualified for the Scholarships  as long as you hold citizenship of an African nation.  You must have also completed, or be in the final year of completing, your university studies. You must also return to work in Africa, within 2 years of Stanford MBA graduation, for a period of at least 2 years.

Brief description: The Humphrey Scholarship Program is for skilled professionals involved in strengthening their guidance proficiencies through a mutual replace of knowledge and appreciative about issues of common concern in the U.S. and Fellows’ home countries.

Host Institution(s): Scholarships are placed at one of the participating USA universities. Scholarships are not capable to decide which university they will attend. Rather, they are assigned in diverse groups of 7-15 to the most apposite host institution based on their area of interest and professional field.

Level/Field of study: As a non-degree program, the Scholarships proposes expensive opportunities for professional development through preferred university courses, attending conferences, networking, and practical work experiences. The suitable program fields are:

Target group: Citizens of suitable countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa, East Asia and Pacific, South and Central Asia, and Western Hemisphere.

Scholarship value/inclusions: The Scholarship presents for:

•  Payment of tuition and fees at the assigned host university;
•  Pre-academic English language training, if compulsory;
•  A maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settling-in allowance;
•  Accident and sickness coverage;
•  A book allowance;
•  A one-time computer subsidy;
• Air travel (worldwide travel to and from the U.S. for the program and domestic travel to required program events);
• A Professional Development payment for professional activities, such as field trips, professional visits and conferences.

Eligibility: The candidate must have:

•  An undergraduate (first university) degree,
•  A minimum of 5 years of full-time, professional skills
•  Limited or no prior skills in the United States,
•  Demonstrated leadership behaviors,
•  A record of public service in the community, and
•  English language aptitude

Application instructions: Application closing dates vary by country but falls around May to September every year. The nominating U.S. Embassy or Binational Fulbright Commission will counsel you of its internal closing date for getting applications. Brief description:  The Foundation Rainbow Bridge Scholarship is presented for women from Asian or African countries affected by natural disasters, drought or famine to pursue an MBA programme at HEC Paris.

Target group: Women from Asian or African countries affected by natural disasters, drought or famine.

Scholarship value/inclusions: €20,000

Eligibility: Recipients of this scholarship are top-caliber female applicants who have been admitted to the HEC Paris MBA program (full-time only) and who can express exemplary leadership skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Community work,
•  Charity engagement,
•  Sustainable development practices.

Women applying must come from an Asian or African country affected by a natural disaster, drought or famine. In addition, they must demonstrate an assurance to solving some of the social and economic issues upsetting their countries while working for the long-term security of the people living there.

Application instructions: Only admitted applicants can submit an application for this scholarship. You must submit an essay on why you should be named the Foundation Rainbow Bridge Scholar at the HEC MBA Program, while identify your post-MBA goals.  Closing date is on a rolling basis but please note that you cannot submit an application for this scholarship if admitted after June 15th for the September intake and after November 26th for the January intake.
