What is it about: The Government of the People's Republic of China has positioned at the clearance of UNESCO for the academic year 2016-2017, under the co-sponsorship of UNESCO, seventy-five (75) scholarships for advanced studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These scholarships are for the advantage of developing Member States in Africa, Asia–Pacific, Latin America, Europe and North America and Arab province.

The scholarship, reasonable at a selected  number of Chinese universities, are for a duration of 1 year. These fellowships, are in most luggage to be conducted in English. In excellent cases, applicants may be requisite to study Chinese language before taking up research/study in their fields of interest.

The courses have a worldwide orientation and are taught in German and/or English.
Number of Scholarships: Not specified
Target group: The scholarship format is release to applicants from Africa, Latin America, North/Central America, South Asia, Southeast Asia as well as from countries in the Middle East. See list of eligible countries.
Scholarship value/inclusions: DAAD scholarship owners are exempt from tuition fees. DAAD pays a monthly scholarship fee of presently €750. The scholarship also contains contributions to health insurance in Germany.
In addition, DAAD awards a proper travel allowance and a study and research subsidy as well as rent subsidies and/or allowances for spouses and/or children where appropriate.
Eligibility: The scholarship goals very well experienced graduates with a first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) who in the future wish for to keenly donate to the social and economic development of their home countries. The scholarships are presented both for young graduates without professional experience and for mid-career professionals.
The major DAAD criteria for selection are: the study results, knowledge of English (and German), political and social appointment, a convincing explanation of the subject-related and individual inspiration for the study scheme in Germany and the projected advantage after the come back to the home country.
The university degree should have been obtained during the 6 years before the application for the scholarship. Candidates cannot be measured if they have been in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application.

Every Master courses have further supplementary necessities that must be fulfilled by the candidates at any case.
Application instructions: Please submit your applications for the preferred Master courses and for the DAAD scholarship to the relevant universities only (not to DAAD). Please fill in the DAAD application form by indicating your preferred precedence of study courses. The application time at all 8 universities is from 1 June – 31 July 2016.

Brief description: The Gates Cambridge Scholarships are one of the mainly prestigious worldwide scholarships in the world. Scholarships are granted to outstanding candidates from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject presented at the University of Cambridge.
Host Institution(s): University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Level/Field of study: PhD, MSc or MLitt, or a 1 year postgraduate course in any subject proposed at the University of Cambridge. 
Number of Awards: About 95 Scholarships are granted every year.
Target group: Citizens of any country outside the United Kingdom.

Eligibility: You can submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you are:
•  a citizen of every country outside the United Kingdom.
•  applying to pursue one of the following full-time residential courses of study: PhD (3 year research-only degree); MSc or MLitt (2 year research-only degree); or a 1 year postgraduate course (e.g. MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma, MBA etc.)
If you are submit an application for a new postgraduate course you can submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Current Gates Cambridge Scholars may also submit an application for a second scholarship if they are applying for a new degree.

Application instructions: Applications for October 2017 entry opens 1 September 2016.
It is not probable to submit an application for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship without applying to the University of Cambridge.  You must submit an application for admission as a postgraduate student to the University of Cambridge and a Gates Cambridge Scholarship at the same time, using the one application pack.  The closing date for applications is 7 December 2016 for citizens of all countries other than the US and 12 October 2016 for US citizens.
