  6. Not more than 35 years old at the time of application. In exceptional cases, for programmes which are appropriate for senior officials and managers, the age limit is 45 years.

  8. Suitable candidates should agree to return to their home country after completion of studies under the programme.
  9. Executive Directors, Alternate Directors, management and staff of ADB, consultants, and relatives of the aforementioned are not suitable for the Scholarship.
  10. Staff of JSP-designated institutions are not suitable to submit an application to their own institution.
  11. Candidates living or working in a country other than his/her home country are not suitable for scholarships.
  12. ADB-JSP does not support candidates who are already enrolled in graduate degree programs.
  13. ADB-JSP does not sponsor undergraduate studies, distance learning programmes, short-term training, conferences, seminars, thesis writing, and research projects.
Application instructions: Only after you have gained admission to an entitled postgraduate programme listed above for the 2017 intake and received an Official Offer of Place from the University of Auckland can you submit an application for the scholarship. Thus, you must first submit an application for admission ONLINE as a global candidate for one of the suitable programmes.

What does it covers: TLS Global Scholarship: The TLS Global Scholarship is a tuition fee waiver of 25% for students who graduated from one of the universities listed below. For the academic year 2016/2017 this means that students from these listed universities pay a tuition fee of € 10,500 (instead of the normal tuition fee of € 14,000).
-Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences Scholarship: The TSB Scholarship for Academic merit consists of a scholarship of € 5.000 to partially cover the living expenses of the students during their stay here in Tilburg. Additional to this, non-EEA scholarship students receive a partial tuition waiver (up to € 9.000 at a tuition fee of € 14.000,- / subject to change) .
-Tilburg School of Humanities Scholarship: EU/EEA students-The TSH Scholarship for Academic merit for EU/EEA students consists of a scholarship of € 5.000 to partially cover the living expenses of the students during their stay here in Tilburg. Non-EEA students-The TSH Scholarship for Academic merit for non-EEA students consists of a partial tuition waiver. In 2015/2016 this was a waiver of € 9.000, which left a tuition fee of € 4.000. The exact amounts for 2016/2017 will be published later this year.
-TST Scholarship for Academic Excellence: The scholarship consists of a grant of € 5,000 to partially cover the student’s living expenses.
Selection Criteria: On the basis of the following selection criteria, the selection committee will select the recipients of the TSH Scholarship for Academic merit:
-The academic results in the relevant (under)graduate program
-The quality and content of the Scholarship Application Form
-The language test score
-Extracurricular activities

Notification: All TSB Scholarship and THS Scholarship candidates will be informed about the outcome of the scholarship selection committee by early May 2016.

How to Apply: Students do not need to submit an application for TLS scholarship. All admitted students to the qualified masters programme will receive the tuition fee waiver automatically. To submit an application for Scholarship for Academic merit you should:
-Download the Scholarship Application Form
-State in the application form that you graduated with an average result of at least 8 (out of 10) in a relevant (under)graduate program, by providing your calculated GPA and/or proof that you belong to the top 10% of your class
-Upload the Scholarship Application Form in our Online Application System MYSAS, together with your application for the Master’s program before the Scholarship closing date
